Questions bakers ask us
What does the Blue print on?
Cakes, cookies, cupcakes, macarons, brownies, marshmallows, chocolate, fondant, buttercream, wet or dry royal icing, edible paper, isomalt and hot or cold drinks. Items on the bed need to be within 5mm of each other in height.
Do I need special design software?
No. Any graphics program that saves a JPG works. You upload the image to the included laptop and build your print template there.
How is the ink different from my current printer?
The Blue uses ink tanks instead of cartridges. You can see the actual ink levels and pour only the color you need, instead of replacing a whole cartridge when one color runs out.
Which size should I get?
It depends on your order sizes and where your business is headed. The Mini Blue fits a countertop and prints a quarter sheet, the Big Blue prints a half sheet and taller items like drinks, and the XL and Mega are built for high volume. We will help you choose on the demo.
What training do I get?
Every Blue owner gets a private two hour Zoom training built around their business, recorded for later, plus access to the Blue owners Facebook group.
What if I only print once in a while?
The Blue is made for businesses printing at least twice a week. If that is not you yet, we will tell you straight on the demo.
